 La Girandola debuts in May ’82 known as “Orchestra Spettacolo”, achieving a constantly growing success in the best clubs and places all over Sardinia.
The members of the orchestra (eleven) particularly minded at the sound quality, thanks to Antonio Oggianu’s technical knowledges.
Oggianu, also known as Tonino, is the founder of the orchestra, expert in electronic and accordion player/pianist of the band.
Since the early exhibitions, the orchestra stood out because of its brilliance, cared in every single detail and because of the audio quality always advanced.
As years went by, a strong desire of purchasing audio devices and lights more and more innovative grew in us, and because of this, we had to substitute our means, always insufficient for the carried material.
In a nice day, it happened that a band from Olbia asked for a service: to give them an audio equipment and a couple of lights in order to organize a show in a square, where a large place needed a fair equipment and a scenic impact important enough to make the most of the band
Since that day, and considered the satisfying performance, Tonino Oggianu knew that it was the time to go on this way, and specialize in this field too.
That’s how the shows agency “La Girandola”, that for more than 18 years has been organizing, setting up and renting equipments for shows all over Italy, was born.
Today we can proudly say that we are the only agency in Sardinia, and one of the few in Italy, able to supply any kind of scenery, making use of their own materials, from audio to lights, from bandstands to runways, from gazebos to stage coverings and lareg tensostructures, from chairs to small tables, from barriers to flights of steps, from plasma TVs to Maxi screens, from heating systems with warm air generators to generating sets, else to furniture for backstage, in a very short time we are able to create a comfortable place for the artists, with lots of services at their hand. In summer, there must be the air conditioner, and in winter or cold places, we have classic and very handy gas mushrooms too, and the whole in a relaxing place really professionally set.
For our customers, La Girandola has 11 transport means and an indoor space large 1200m², in which there is one large 600m² and tall 10m where we created an audio/video pre-production place, observing all the criteria of a live show in a comfortable environment (obviously heated).
